Maandag® boosts position in engineering with the acquisition of Krosto Techniek BV.

Today, Maandag® Holding announced the acquisition of Krosto Techniek, an agent for technical professionals in mechanical engineering, installation engineering and the industrial sector. The acquisition brings together two parties with one common ambition: to make a positive contribution to the shortage of personnel in technical working environments needed for technical challenges such as the energy transition. With this, Maandag®, market leader in the public sector, further expands its services in the commercial market.

Krosto Techniek has been serving as an agent for technical professionals since 2004. Co-owners and co-founders Erwin Krook and Jeroen van der Stokker, both with over 20 years under their belts as agents for technical professionals, now join the Maandag® organisation along with the rest of team.

CEO Maandag® Freddy Verweij on the acquisition: ‘Krosto Techniek brings a wealth of expertise and a powerful network in the technical market, which offers excellent growth potential. Technical staff are in high demand, including to realise the energy transition. We can now make an important contribution to this in the Netherlands, in addition to Belgium.

‘With our fresh energy, we will soon inspire more people to go into the technical trades that are so vital to society. Along with Krosto Techniek, we firmly believe that our professionals should enjoy their work. That’s why we provide opportunities for growth with varied assignments, quality career guidance and training through our Academy.’

The acquisition by Maandag® is in line with its growth ambitions. Maandag® connects people in the world of work and is growing rapidly in the public and commercial sectors. With this acquisition of Krosto Techniek, Maandag® boosts its position on the engineering market by connecting professionals with leading clients.
