About the position
Our client is a leading global manufacturer of hydraulic cylinders for material handling and construction equipment applications. With production facilities all over the world and technology centers in Skellefteå. Our client supplies precision-engineered hydraulic components and solutions for OEMs worldwide.
Start: ASAP
Location: Skellefteå
Duration: 12 months, after this periood the clienbt can give you an offer or will extend the contract trough Maandag Nordic.
Role Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated person with a background in design, preferably in agricultural equipment, harvesters, forklifts, or similar machinery. Experience in these areas will be highly advantageous. The ideal candidate has experience in team responsibility and customer interactions, including working closely with project plans, internal and external stakeholders. Managerial skills, with a proven ability to handle data effectively are beneficial.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, preferably with industrial experience.
-Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with hydraulics, particularly working with hydraulic cylinders and components. Experience with pneumatics is also a strong advantage.
-Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is required, and Swedish proficiency is a plus.
Skills:
-4 - 5 years of technical expertise and a strong ability to analyze and work with data.
-Demonstrated ability to manage teams and lead projects to successful completion.
-Effective communication skills for engaging with internal teams and external clients.
-You will be collaborating with a design team working with design tools like PTC Creo and PTC Windchill, familiarity with these tools are not a requirement but a plus.
Personality: We’re looking for a structured and driven professional who can work both independently and collaboratively. You should enjoy varied tasks and thrive in roles involving stakeholder interaction. A proactive attitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work are key attributes for success in this role.
