Job Description
Job Requirements
Function Tasks:
- Lead the design and development of intuitive, user-centered interfaces for medical software.
- Conduct user research, interviews, and usability tests to identify user needs and potential risks.
- Translate complex clinical workflows into clear, elegant design solutions.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and detailed UI specifications for new and existing products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align design with product goals and technical feasibility.
- Advocate for usability and accessibility, ensuring compliance with medical device regulations.
- Maintain and further develop corporate design for consistency across all products.
- Stay updated on UX/UI trends, tools, and best practices relevant to the medical device industry.
Qualifications:
- Degree in design-focused studies or a comparable professional education.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design processes and impactful solutions.
- Expertise in usability principles, human factors, and accessibility standards.
- Proficiency with UX research methods, including interviews, usability testing, and data analysis.
- Advanced knowledge of design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Proactive problem-solving approach and keen attention to detail.
- Familiarity with medical device design standards (e.g., IEC 62366) is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in German and English.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a UX/UI Designer, preferably in medical technology or a regulated industry.
